About the Fair
Spring into Sanctuary Point began in 2012 as a way to celebrate and showcase the people, services, and community spirit of Sanctuary Point and the wider Bay and Basin area. What started as the Sanctuary Point Expo has become one of the most loved annual events on the local calendar.
Each year, we welcome local, regional, national, and Indigenous organisations to set up interactive displays and information booths alongside food, craft, and retail stalls. You’ll find:
- Live music and cultural performances
- Local schools and youth groups
- Children’s entertainment (games, jumping castle, face painting)
- Market stalls and food trucks
- Community service information stands
- Youth engagement projects
- Competitions and giveaways
The fair is proudly organised by a local volunteer sub-committee. New volunteers are always welcome.
Annual Community Raffle
Our Annual Community Raffle raises funds for local projects—this year, for a shaded picnic shelter at Clifton Park.
Raffle tickets will be sold before the event and at the fair.
Lucky Gate Prizes
Everyone who attends the fair can enter the draw for our Lucky Gate Prizes—generously donated by local businesses.
It’s free to enter, and you could win great gifts and vouchers—just by coming along!
