On Thursday, 8th September 2022, the Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc Crew held a free Sausage Sizzle outside IGA Sanctuary Point as part of their RUOK observance. This was the 3rd year that the shops in Sanctuary Point turned yellow to mark this important day that encourages Australians to connect with people in the community they may have concerns about, encouraging them to seek further help and to follow up to ensure support is being provided.
Thanks to our members, Firefly Bay, and Basin staff assisting with this BBQ. Due to the day’s success, Community Pride plans to add this to their community calendar.
