Sanctuary Point Community Pride is excited to announce the return of the Seniors Festival “Memories of Times Past” Morning Tea for its second year.
Save the date for Friday, March 22nd, 2024, and join us at the St Georges Basin Community Centre from 9:30 am to noon. We’re looking forward to bringing the community together once again for a morning filled with cherished memories and meaningful connections.
Due to the positive response from last year’s event, we’re rerunning this gathering to celebrate the stories from days gone by. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a memento, whether it’s a photograph or artifact that holds personal significance, and let’s delve into our rich histories together.
As we revisit the nostalgia of years gone by, the NukeM ukulele group will provide the perfect soundtrack to our morning, adding to the lively atmosphere. Amidst the music and conversations, old friendships will be rekindled, and new bonds will be formed. The wonderful Country Women’s Association will provide the morning tea.
Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc. is generously funding this Seniors Festival event, ensuring that we can come together once again to celebrate our shared heritage. Guest are asked to make a gold coin donation at the event, which will go towards the cost of the event.
We’re grateful to all members of our community who contributed to the success of last year’s event, and we look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and newcomers to this year’s “Memories of Times Past” Morning Tea. Join us on March 22nd as we honour tradition and create new memories together.
Please RSVP to Gwen Price, the event coordinator, by March 15th. You can reach her by phone at 0419 492 348 or via email at sanctuarypointcommunitypride@gmail.com.
