Sanctuary Point Community Pride proudly conducts an annual raffle, a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts dedicated to supporting community facilities and organizations in Sanctuary Point. This tradition brings our community together and allows us to substantially impact our residents’ lives. Below is information about our past beneficiaries and the exciting prizes for this year’s raffle.

We are immensely grateful for the support of these businesses and the dedication of our volunteers who sell raffle tickets from September to October. Your participation in the raffle gives you the chance to win fantastic prizes and contributes to the betterment of our Sanctuary Point community. Past Raffle Beneficiaries

2024: Community Food Pantry, St Georges Basin Uniting Church

Funds Provided: In 2024, the proceeds from our raffle were provided to the Uniting Church in St Georges Basin Free Community Food Pantry. The pantry has used the funds to stock their shelves.

2023: Jervis Bay Netball Club

Funds Provided: In 2023, the proceeds from our raffle were channelled towards Jervis Bay Netball Club, which used the funds to purchase updated equipment.

2022: Noah’s Inclusion Service

Funds Provided: In 2022, the proceeds from our raffle were channelled towards Noah’s Inclusion Service.

2021: St Georges Basin Little Athletics Club

Funds Provided: In 2021, our support reached the St. Georges Basin Little Athletics Club. Due to flood damage, the club faced the daunting task of replacing equipment. Our contributions eased this burden, allowing young athletes to continue their pursuits.

2020: Sanctuary Point Connect (SaCC)

Funds Provided: 2020 posed unique challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, our raffle proceeds went to Sanctuary Point Connect (SaCC). The funds were used to create activity packs for local children aged six months to 5 years, ensuring they had engaging and stimulating resources during lockdown. Additionally, a benchtop dishwasher was acquired to maintain the cleanliness of toys and equipment.

2019: Clifton Learn-to-Ride Park

In 2019, we made a lasting impact by assisting in the purchase and installation of the All-Abilities Swing in Clifton Learn-to-Ride Park, making the park truly inclusive and accessible to children of all abilities.
