Located within Paradise Beach Reserve, Sanctuary Point, the Fitness Station provides residents with static exercise equipment, including elliptical, running machines and pull-up bars.
The Fitness station was made possible from donations from Sanctuary Point Bendigo Bank ($22,000), NSW Department of Sport and Recreation ($25,000) and Shoalhaven City Council ($20,000).

The Fitness Station is an example of Council working with the local community to see a project proceed. “Council has worked closely with the Sanctuary Point Community Pride group to see this project proceed to this point,” said Clr Gash.

“The group has combined with Council, the Bendigo Bank and the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation to ensure a project that otherwise may not have preceded this quickly has gone ahead.
“Fitness Stations provide a fun, free and easy way to stay active and utilise our beautiful surroundings here in the Shoalhaven.”
