Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc. is thrilled to announce a new community project — raising funds to build a large, covered picnic shelter at Clifton Street Park.
This shelter will be a fantastic space for families, community groups, and visitors to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the outdoors, regardless of the weather.
Why Do We Need a Picnic Shelter?
Picnic shelters do more than provide shade and shelter — they create vibrant community hubs. Shoalhaven City Council has already installed several excellent picnic shelters across the region, and we want Clifton Street Park to have one too!
We’ve been working closely with the Council to make this a reality, and Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc. is committed to fully funding the shelter for the community.

How You Can Help
We are raising funds through the sale of raffle tickets in our annual Community Raffle. Buy a ticket and support the shelter while having a chance to win great prizes!
We’re also open to donations from community members who want to contribute directly.
Every dollar raised brings us closer to building a shelter that will serve as a welcoming space for all park users, families, groups, parties, and more.
Get Involved
- Buy raffle tickets leading up to the fair and at the fair.
- Donate to support the shelter fund
